"B&D Construction & Painting company quickly came to my house to give me a cost estimate. I had to install 2 roof vents for bathroom exhaust fans. They gave me the lowest quote and based on their experience, I selected them. They came to my house when scheduled and completed the job in a few hours. They put in the 2 roof vents and they also installed all the ducting (venting hose) in the attic to connect the 2 bathroom exhaust fans to the 2 new roof vents. Everything works great now. They cleaned up behind them, and left behind a happy customer (me). I recommend them highly and will use them again for other projects."

I had them take pictures of the work they did and I observed them multiple times at the jobsite (I was driving by) and they were extremely professional and literally finished my whole roof in one day. They also replaced rotted wood in my roof (for extra money) and also replaced my gutters after I saw what a good job they did with my roof. I would use them again - and they were much more straight-shooting than the competition in the Lynn, Revere, East Boston, Chelsea area. Oh also - they cleaned up after themselves. "A few weeks back, during one of the big storms, our third floor tenant came downstairs and told us her roof was leaking. I remembered that our next-door neighbor had recently had someone on the roof, and asked them if they liked whomever they hired, and they said they did and gave me his number. I called him on a Friday afternoon, and he said he could come by and take a look on that Monday. Our roof is a nightmare of steep angles with solar panels all over it, four stories above the ground because of where hills are at, and I wasn't even able to get up there at all to even see what was going on, so I thought this was gonna be a nightmare. He came out Monday, crawled up to the roof, texted me a couple pictures of what he saw and how he could patch things up working around the solar panels, and I asked him to send me a quote. He quoted me $700, materials and labor, which, given just how bad the damage was, seemed quite reasonable to me. Fifteen minutes later, he texted that he just figured out a slightly easy way to get access to the space. Half an hour later, he sent me a picture of a completely perfectly repaired roof. They were somewhat different colored shingles, because that's what he had on his truck at the moment, and they were under a solar panel four stories above the ground, so I had no problem with that. He charged me $660 for it, which I think is entirely reasonable for having the skills, equipment, and materials to just show up and fix the darned thing. While he was up there, he noted that there was another part of the roof that was in absolutely terrible shape, which we were aware of, and he quoted us what sounded to us like an unrealistically low price for the level of damage we were looking at, with the understanding that the damage was closer to what we thought it was than what he thought it was, the price might go up, but he was expecting it to come in about $1720, so he would charge us $860, and come back in two weeks. He came by this morning, and I am sorry to say that we were right, so he was very apologetic about having to charge us an additional $680 over what he was expecting ... as I mentioned, my wife and I had really thought that was going to happen, so we had set aside extra money, so not a problem. The total was therefore $2400 - and, I had honestly expected it to be at least $3k. I mean, I suppose I can only tell you for sure that it is all as good as it looks next year. But, right now, today, looking at the completed work, it feels like he did a top-notch job for, say, 80% the price I was expecting, and under half the time. If this holds up the way that, on an initial look, it seems like it will, this is the absolute best roofing experience I could expect."

"I contacted B&D Construction about installing two railings and a post on my flat rubber roof. Benicio called back quickly and stopped by my house a couple of days later. He told me everything that he would do and I was impressed by his knowledge. Because the roof would need to be cut in order to install the post, I was very concerned about the roof leaking in the future if the installation wasn't done properly. My fears were allayed after talking with Benicio as he walked me through the installation step by step. I decided to hire him and gave him a 50% deposit. I also told him that I was in the process of getting a HELOC on my house and that the installation would need to finished before the appraiser came to appraise the house. Benicio and three additional workers arrived this morning at 9am. They worked for 3 hours and did an absolutely perfect job! The new railing is very well built and the posts were flashed properly. The end result looks beautiful! I am extremely happy that I hired B&D and will definitely hire them again. Also, as we all know (and Game of Thrones repeatedly told us), the winter is coming. The DREADED winter is coming! I live on a steep hill in the Glendale section of Everett and I'm really tired of shoveling and slipping and falling. Thankfully, B&D handles snow removal so I will be calling them for that in the wintry future! :-)"
